About

The Kansas City Chapter of Executive Women International® (EWI) was chartered in 1959. The chapter has supported EWI programs throughout our 56 year history. We support the Adult Students in Scholastic Transition (ASIST), which awards a scholarship to an adult at a transitional point in their life. The Executive Women International Scholarship Program (EWISP) scholarship is awarded to a high school junior to assist with costs associated with college. Reading Rally promotes literacy among grade school children and for the last nine years, the Kansas City Chapter has held several events.. Over the past years Kansas City Chapter has held our event at local schools.

The Kansas City Chapter holds monthly meetings throughout the year and meetings are scheduled on the third Wednesday of each month with the exception of November and December.

Meeting schedules include:

Regular monthly meetings where the format varies but typically includes a speaker on subjects that are educational, motivational, inspirational, or address current issues facing our community.

Business meetings are held two times a year. Committee reports are given and matters requiring a vote are brought before the membership. Officers are installed at the September or October business meeting.

Firm Nights provide a forum for a member firm to highlight their business and provide an educational update to the membership on the firm.

Executive Night is held in April. At this meeting dinner is provided and scholarships are awarded.
